Of course in your mind it's the correct one or you wouldn't have that opinion. However you have no more proof to back up your opinion then anyone stating it's a choice.

Numerous studies as well as basic logic and common sense....What more do I need?

A person did not choose their sexual orientation either....

That is your opinion.

It's also the correct one.

Guys that would be a good thread on it's own, kinda off topic here.

So like I said you have not solid facts to back up your opinion any more then someone who believes the opposite.

Actually I think it goes to the heart of the topic. Should sexual orientation be included in the list of things you cannot discriminate against. If it's a choice what other lifestyle choices should be protected?

Religion is a choice...Why should it be protected?

Why is it ok that more then half the states in the Union get to discriminate against homosexuals by not recognizing marriage but Flo the Photographer has to take Polaroids of the happy day?

Because it's kind of the reason we are all living the life we currently have.

It's not okay. IMO, it's bigotry in both cases.

How does serving (as a retailer, or business owner) a homosexual couple go against a person's religious beliefs?

As both Habib and Mexitucky both mentioned their right to practice their religion is not being infringed upon by having them treat others equally. They are still free to worship as they see fit. They are not, however free to use that religion to discriminate against others in public.

WWJD?

He'd serve them, then wash their feet.

If you are the owner of a business and refuse someone's patronage because they are gay, you can live with the consequences.

It's not. It just hasn't been challenged yet in those states.

In the actual photographer's case, she said she just couldn't photograph their wedding. As a retailer I don't see an argument.
