February 3, 201412 yr What award or trophy have you personally received that means the most to you, or makes you the most proud? I'm interested to hear what some of the accomplishments are amongst the BGPers. (And yes, I'm sure there are lots of trophy wives out there....but what else 'ya got? :lol2:)

February 3, 201412 yr I'd have to say my scholarship that allowed me to graduate college, not only debt-free, but also getting paid by the university to attend.
February 3, 201412 yr I come at this from the perspective of a parent. My daughter making 1st Team All NKY her senior year for softball might be the answer for me. I say that because we put in a lot of time working on her game from the time she was 4 or so. She did all of the work to earn the award but I'd like to think I helped in the process.

A certificate from the "Devoted Beer Lovers of America" for actions above and beyond the call during the blizzard of 78. However, I almost got thrown out of Morehead for that stunt.

February 3, 201412 yr "Best Dad" (as voted by my kids) last father's day. The competition was intense, but I pulled out a win. Ok seriously, I played sports my whole life and won a bunch of minor golf trophies and team trophies in other sports, but I liked music so I self taught myself trombone in high school and earned 1st chair my second year playing and first chair all-state Tennessee band my next year. I played U Mem jazz and concert band on schollie my first year of college, but I missed baseball and walked on baseball the next year and gave up the music career.
February 3, 201412 yr Along the same line as Clyde, it would be my daughters having both the 2013 Overall Grand Champion and Ky Proud Grand Champion goats at the Ky State Fair. If you are at all familiar with showing livestock, you know that this is a family activity.
February 3, 201412 yr Does it have to be a trophy? How about a Tshirt and Certificate? I was grand champion at one of the Eat the Worm Contests at Tumbleweed back in the day. Forgot long ago how many shots/worms it was though. It was actually on the nite of my birthday and my folks and several other family members were there. None of them were around though to the bitter end though thank goodness.
