I am not to sure how the excited the Boone coach is these days, he has had a brutal first year and the cubbard looks bare in the years to come. The demographics of the county has changed and unfortunatley Boone is on the short end of the stick.

Glad you are teaching your kids this. Because IMO the message that

the students are getting with all the coaching changes due to parental complaints

is when things don't go your way you and your parents have the power.

Write letters, start a smear campaign against the coach, make accusations and

eventually the coach will be fired or quit. Lesson these

kids are unfortunately learning is that they do not have to respect authority, and you

can get a teacher and coach fired because you do not like them or

how they are playing you. Unfortunately, this is carrying

over into the school and classrooms as well. One needs

only to look at the disrespect that has been shown toward

administrators, teachers etc. on social media over the past months.

Funny, I have heard the same thing about the coach at Boone. Kind of surprised. Not all is as it seemed during the interview process. The perception of the Boone of old is not the reality of Boone today.

There was a time when Boone had players only playing one way and the special team kids could of started at most surrounding high schools, now they are pulling kids up from freshman team to fill the gaps. "Camelot is over".

The biggest problem Boone has is they are landlocked. No growth in that school district unlike Cooper, Ryle and even Conner. The only thing that can help Boone would be another re districting, but that will only lead to students much closer to the other schools having to go to Boone.

The majority of Ryle fans I know are all for this change of direction for the program. We all love Mike but a clean slate was necessary. We all support the new coach.
