One of my best friends lives in Frankfort, and I try to set up regular lunch visits. Haven't been there in a couple months, though, unfortunately. Love their curries.

Count me in as well. I haven't had Thai or Vietnamese and wouldn't know what to compare it to so the bar doesn't have to be too high. Clearly we're more limited than a larger market like Chicago or NY that have more to select from. Thanks to Gametime on the Cilantro recommendation. Any others come to mind? Seafood is always sketchy. I've found your better off making friends with one of the seafood dept. folks to learn about timing on shipping or go through one of the overnight providers from New England if you are planning a lobster, corn, and tater party. Same can be accomplished with Crawfish season, with LA farms, as well which is coming up next month. Sub wise, sub station in Ft. Wright doesn't disappoint. Subway lost my business a few years ago when I began to get the stink eye asking for extra black olives and banana peppers. The new Which Wich headquartered in TX has opened a store in Florence. It's not bad, and an interesting concept. Chicken Wing wise, Marcos Pizza has pleasantly surprised me recently. Applebees soup/salad lunch special delivers. Frischs soup/salad bar is a leg up on a fast food value meal. Anyone visit the thai place next to Shakeys off 42? Or the Korean place across from Popeyes on 18? If so, how was it? Thanks in advance!
January 28, 201412 yr No way jvdfc. Casa Fiesta is the best Mexican place in Frankfort and not even close. Now, I'm judging based soley on the food, not a 'rita fan and am usually the one driving so don't usually drink at all, so that part of it I can't speak to. Terrible! They once had racoons inside and they were leaving "new" baskets of chips in the floor of the kitchen overnight. They also have failed or had sub-par scores on their inspections. I'll never eat there. Nor will any of my family.
January 28, 201412 yr I will have to try it! They were the 1st Mexican place in Frankfort. Started around 1983.
