January 26, 201412 yr Looks like out next chance for snow will be late Sunday into Monday. It is more likely to be early on Monday morning when it will start. As of now, looks like mostly Northern Kentucky will be effected. Later on Monday snow may move into the Lexington area. Right now I'm think 1-2 inches. I'll get a better hold on it with the model runs tomorrow. I'll be watching another system that may move into our area on Wednesday. Looks like this system will effect the areas from Lexington to the south and east. the difference from this system is that it will move in from the southeast and Northern Kentucky may get a break from the snow. Only time will tell.

January 26, 201412 yr Author Even if this system doesn't bring much snow it will usher in some of the coldest if not the coldest air of this winter. We will be looking at below zero temps for most of the state. Those in Northern Kentucky could be looking at double digit below zero by Tuesday morning.
