January 27, 201412 yr I heard somewhere that they are predicting snow in the Panhandle of Florida later this week. It's actually been somewhat of a mild winter, here, even for Florida. I don't think we've hit freezing once, much less gone below it. We always get 2 or 3 days a year where I have to worry about my plants and above ground pipes, and at least a few days where the temp in the house goes into the mid 50s, forcing me to fire up the heat. I haven't turned on the heat once this year. Coincidentally, the strawberries haven't be as sweet this year, either.
