You don't have to beat a team by 82 to prove your superior or make a statement. I believe that was determined within the 1st minute of the game. Again, play your reserves and rest your starters for the semi's. Why take a chance of one of them getting injured when the game was over in the 1st. I agree with I4C, slow it down and run sets.

There has to be more to the story here. Bad blood between coaches or programs?

Perfect example would be the NCC/Heritage score. I think NCC could have scored an additional 25 points if they really wanted to.

We saw that last night personally. NCC Coaching staff even had their girls not even come out and guard past the arc.

That message being "Fear us, look what we did to Eminence". I don't think that any team Trimble could face in the rest of the tournament would be intimidated by that. It's Eminence. They haven't won a game all year and I cannot recall the last time they beat Trimble, so I doubt this was payback. Just a coach getting caught up in the moment and not doing the right thing. Sad.

When I've seen Trimble play, some of their players will invite the other team and coaches to join them at half court for prayer after the game. That is great...it really is. I just wonder how that went last night. :idunno: Just a thought, but if they were taking prayer request, one of the Eminence players could have suggested..."SPORTSMANSHIP". Duh!
