May 20, 201412 yr Yes. It was in the tower where they were hiding when Jon turned on the Wildlings, and Ygritte shot him full of arrows as he tried to escape. I'm thinking she's pregnant with John's kid. She's also extremely hot.
May 23, 201412 yr My roommate is currently watching the series, and just started reading Game of Thrones. He needs to hurry the heck up so we can theorize together. Reddit has a fantastic subreddit about A Song of Ice and Fire. I do not know how these people know the books so well, but it's nice to be a freerider and reap the benefits.
June 2, 201412 yr Wow. Even though I knew what was coming that was intense. Sent from my iPhone using Forum Runner
June 2, 201412 yr That was crazy good tonight. I don't read the books so I was surprised. Well until the Prince kept walking around the Mountain then I knew he was gonna die when he didn't kill him immediately.
June 2, 201412 yr I thought that scene was a let down from the book. I mean, I hate to be "that guy" who says the books are better, but they almost seemed like they rushed the fight because of other stuff in the episode. I feel like that was the most gripping scene in the series, and Martin builds up every second of it until you're certain that Oberyn has won, then pulls the rug out from under you. I don't know, maybe people who haven't read the books got that sensation too, but knowing it was coming it just seemed less than built up. And I say that as someone who thinks the show has done a masterful job of capturing the essence of the books.
June 2, 201412 yr At the beginning of the fight I thought Oberyn might win but towards the end once he kept demanding a confession with the Mountain lying there I figured he would die. Still yet it was pretty compelling and I tack my knowing it would happen to the fact that I've watched a ton of movies and television so it's difficult to be completely surprised. Thought the whole episode was great though.
June 2, 201412 yr And I think the reason they focused on other storylines in this episode is because they probably won't be given much attention during the final 2 episodes.
