Hazard 54 Perry County Central 52 (OT)

Wow, no Beverly no victory. Congrats to Hazard.

WOW, two nice victories in a row by Hazard. :thumb:

Can't help but think PCC wins with a healthy Beverly but still a great win for Hazard. They beat KCC and now PC. With or without Beverly that is huge for their confidence.

Perry Central is just a good team without Beverly. They are very beatable by other good teams. Toomer is a nice addition but he can't take the place of Beverly.

Was getting updates on twitter last night, knew this would be a great game.

Seems there has been a under estimation of Hazard, do they have the Euro players yet?

Any stats from this game?

It's my understanding from talking to some of their fans that they should hear something in the next week or shortly after. They were talking about some pickup games they had seen the exchange kids play and said they were good ball players, especially one that is a 6'2 guard from Serbia. The guy that was telling me probably was using a lot of exaggeration but he said if he was able to get eligible that in his opinion he would be the best guard in the region. That's saying a lot when the region already has great guards in Justice and Beverly. One of the other students is 6'8, I don't think any of them are seniors.

If these kids are as good as rumored then Hazard probably becomes the clear leader in the team with the best chance of winning the region. Of course, it could all be hyperbole from excited fans about their talent, and also depends on the KHSAA ruling.
