BGP Bengals Playoff game get together

As much as I would love to accommodate your all's wishes and be there too, I am unable to because I will be at the game. However I could possibly stop by after the game for the celebration if the Bengals win. Or if the Bengals win and there is another get together for the Bengals pats game I possibly could make it since its a road game.

Maybe we sshould try for the pats game if we win...not a lot of people intersted in this week.

I'll be at PBS with 65,000 of my closet friends

Why is everyone still hiding? It's okay to be a Bengals fan, they just won the division for Pete's sake. Go ahead and come out.

Me, I'll be there with 65,000 of my closest friends.

Just having a little fun. Love CC and CWB posts around these parts.

Correction, looking more like 45,000 fans. There were a lot of empty seats at last weeks " sellout " also. Not a good sign when an NFL Playoff game doesn't sell out, cold weather or not.

Hopefully the tide turns today and tomorrow. If it was in my budget my family would go. I think a lot of folks are in the same boat. And a lot of folks don't want to be cold….GO BENGALS!

Firstrowsports!

Sometimes Wiziwig works too for a backup plan. Just ignore requests to download anything, and kill the initial pop-ups, be patients in finding something that truly works, then you're good to go. I have a mac so I don't know about any dangers, but can't say for sure that there aren't any. :idunno:

Here's a drawing for two free tix from CityBeat magazine. As of 10:42 a.m. Jan. 1, there is still roughly 1 day and a half to enter. Right now only 170 people have. I decrease my chances by announcing it here, but I'm cool with it. If It's cold as hell It might be better that I didn't win anyhow.

Good luck!

I will be more than happy to be anyone's bodyguard who is going to the game. All you have to do is buy me a ticket and I will crush any charger fan that bothers you. Just sayin

I suspect Charger fans will be either guys with highlights in their hair or beautiful women. Drunk Bengal fans will be a more likely nuisance.

If a get together this Sunday does happen I should be able to attend.

Anywhere works for me. I saw where Content1 recommended some smaller places and another one that may work is Peewees in Crescent Springs.

I was at the game, a lot of the empty seats last week was in the club section because they seem to like to stay lol

As for the Bengals game the money and cold probably are reasons. However Indy which is in doors, and Green Bay who always sells out is also having a hard time selling out. These prices the NFL made for playoff tickets is just to high for how the economy is.

You are probably right. Back in 2007 at the Bengals Steelers game here I was in the bathroom which was packed, had to use one of the stalls and almost got into a fight with a drink belligerent Bengals fan who was probably around 55 years old who thought I was taking too much time. That incident alone was one of the final straws to help rationalize giving up my season tickets, it got to be no fun anymore being surrounded by a bunch of obnoxious drunks, also having my kid with me didn't help any.

Came down to, do I want to floor this guy in front of my kid in the bathroom and take a chance of getting thrown out or arrested, or walk away. Fortunately it didn't have to come to that because there was a cop in their who took the idiot away before I got out of the stall. This drunk kicked in the door while I was in the middle of doing my business....was about to get real ugly.

Thats crazy! There definitely is some drunks over there that just takes away from the excitement of being there. Just curious on where you use to sit? I use to be in the North end zone a lot when I first started going to games a lot and I found that side to be a lot more rowdy with people drinking and drunk. About two years ago I switched to mainly sitting in the south end zone and there is people drinking. However it is not as rowdy when it comes to people just being idiots.

That means if it's a frigid day you'd sorta be like "Stone Cold" Steve Austin or something, huh?

Don't forget about the SD fans that were stabbing people at their recent game in Denver.

North Endzone 2nd row section 128 seats 3-4. Right above the play clock. The Storm Trooper would always come down and sit next to us, the wife couldn't stand him lol.
