January 7, 201412 yr Author "Dracula Untold" is due out around Halloween 2014, and is supposed to be a retelling of the Dracula story to closer incorporate the historical character Vlad "The Impaler" Țepeș, Prince of Wallachia as Bram Stoker's vampire.
January 7, 201412 yr I want to see the new Wahlberg movie Lone Survivor...and I'm with you there. Ridley Scott is currently working on a Biblical epic called "Exodus". Stars Christian Bale as Moses, Joel Edgerton ("Zero Dark Thirty" and "The Great Gatsby") as Ramses The Great, and Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) as Joshua. Also starring Ben Kingsley, Sigourney Weaver, and John Turturro. Due out around Christmas 2014. I think I'd definitely be interested in that.
March 27, 201412 yr Author Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - No trailer out yet, but I can't wait to see the new adaptation. No chance I'm going out of my way to see this one.
March 27, 201412 yr Saw the first 2014 release I was eagerly waiting for last night: Grand Budapest Hotel. Wes Anderson did it again; I thought it was FANTASTIC. A different tone than a lot of his other stuff and on a much bigger scale, but his aesthetic and tone are the same as they ever were.
March 27, 201412 yr No chance I'm going out of my way to see this one. Yeah, I saw the trailer, and not impressed. Will definitely still see it, but probably not until it's at Red Box.
March 27, 201412 yr I don't go to the movies all that often. Did see "Divergent" last weekend and liked it - 3 stars out of 4. Next one I'd really like to see is "Noah".
March 27, 201412 yr I don't go to the movies all that often. Did see "Divergent" last weekend and liked it - 3 stars out of 4. Next one I'd really like to see is "Noah". I did the same. I liked Divergent also. Better than I thought it'd be.
May 5, 201412 yr Author This looks to be well worth seeing. Involves many of the same folks who got together to make Wet Hot American Summer (one of my favorite under-the-radar comedies), including the same writer and director. Comes out in late June.
May 5, 201412 yr Author Another interesting one. This movie was filmed over the course of 12 years, using the same actors/actresses to show an ACTUAL aging process.
May 5, 201412 yr Author I think the soundtrack to this movie alone should make this James Brown biopic worth seeing at some point.
June 25, 201412 yr Author Due out in November. I'll probably go see this in theaters just because it's hard to pass on a war movie on the big screen. Not sure what to think about it though - written and directed by David Ayer. This is Ayer's 9th screenplay, and the only previous one that I thought was really a good screenplay was Training Day. Other than that, he's written a lot of cheesy action/crime movies. I'm hopeful with this one, though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8n5iV53L0U[
