I'm going to go with Kentucky. They seem to be far more desperate than Louisville (i.e., we need it worse than they do), and the freshman will have likely come along after Camp Cal.

If they can hit a few threes and get it going offensively then UK wins by 6+. But with UL's defense I don't know how well that can happen. I hope UK wins but I don't know if they are to that level yet.

Camp Cal really hasn't started yet. They haven't been able to have as much practice time between games because of the late final week and Christmas. It really ramps up tomorrow.

Really strongly resisting the urge to go into full-on, pre-game troll mode... I don't know how long my resistance can last.

Kentucky could forfeit every game they play against Louisville until 2027... and they'd still lead the all time series. Just FYI.

 

Considering Kentucky's advantages in history, money, size, and fanbase... it should be embarrassing to UK that they ever lose to Louisville at all. Remember that every time little brother beats you up.

Betting line started at even, then went to favoring UL by 3 as of last nght. I think UL's experience (Smith, Behanan, Harrell, Hancock, Blackshear) will be the deciding factor as the Cards eke out a win.

 

If UK is a home dog, you know they're in real trouble.

UK 72-65... The crowd may actually be loud and that will keep the young cat's interested and focused.

 

I was darn close and the crowd was great.
