Huber is out for the year. Jaw will be wired 4-6 weeks, obviously not going to be cleared to play with it wired shut.

I have a rules question to ask. Early on in last night's game, there was a play that featured a quick pass out in the flats to a wide receiver (don't remember who it was). But, Polamalu jumped the route...or more specifically, jumped the receiver. The pass ended up hitting him in the back. Collinsworth joked that Troy got there before the ball, and had he been looking at it, would've had an easy pick.

The question I have is this...there was no doubt there was contact made by Polamalu while the ball was in the air...but why was he allowed to? Is it because the pass (even though it was a forward pass) was at, or behind the line of scrimmage? Or was it because the receiver was still within the 5 yards of a legal chuck by the defender? (It seems to me I've seen pass interference called on defenders (especially if at the goal line) where they're flagged within that first 5 yards.) Or was it something else entirely? Just curious.

The ball was tipped/deflected by a DL.

No, I don't think that one was. I didn't understand the no call either.

Pretty sure that one was not tipped.

I didn't think it was tipped either, and don't remember any mention by the announcers of it being so. But, I guess I could've missed it.

I was told last night there can't be PI if the throw is behind the line of scrimmage.

The refs were absolutely awful last night. The block on Huber was illegal. The last pass play to Green was PI. Both reviews won by Pittsburgh were called terribly on the field.

Pretty sure that one was not tipped.

I rewound it twice last night. Sure looked like a DL got a hand on it.

Anyone else think it's time for Collinsworth to go? He's borderline unwatchable...

You really don't like him? I actually like Collinsworth.

Not at all. It's been clear the last couple weeks or so that he doesn't watch tape or research the teams he's going to be calling whatsoever. He's brutal.

"You know, if the Steelers didn't give up so many big plays, this would be a good defense" That's the kind of amazing insight Collinsworth was giving the viewership last night....Thanks Chris.

Not at all. The SNF crew is immeasurably better than any of the others, especially Buck and Aikman.

All the Fox crews are unwatchable IMO.

If your going to rip on an EMMY award winning announcer, at least get his name spelled correctly.

It's Cris.
