December 17, 201312 yr To answer the above question about pass interference, regardless of whether the ball was tipped or not, I am 95% certain that there can't be pass interference on a receiver behind the line of scrimmage. So tipped ball or not, Troy can hit the guy behind the line of scrimmage and it isn't a penalty. Correct.
December 17, 201312 yr Collinsworth and Simms are easily the two best color guys in both style and substance. Best analytical guy is Dilfer. I like Dilfer as well. I also like Chucky for some reason. The worst is Steve Young. Well him, and Warren Sapp and Michael Irvin.

December 17, 201312 yr Author Well the last two weeks I been warning people that the Bengals need to wrap up a playoff spot first before worrying about seeding. Well its time for me to stop the negative talk of stuff that could happen, because now people realize this. Even though I knew this scenario was possible, I do believe at the end of the regular season the Bengals will be in the playoffs and as division champs. I even think the Bengals will be the 2 seed. I can see the Bengals and Ravens losing this week, and the Dolphins losing to the Bills at Buffalo. This will clinch a playoff spot for the Bengals, and then the Bengals will beat the Ravens to clinch the division the next week. Which would leave the Ravens as the 6 seed going to New England in the first round, and the Bengals the 2 seed. Who Dey!
December 17, 201312 yr In the pre-game Rodney Harrison picked Steelers to win. When asked after the game why he picked the Steelers, he said the Bengals are not mentally tough enough to win a game like that.

If NE wins this week and the Bengals lose this week how would the bengals get the 2 seed?
December 17, 201312 yr Author In the pre-game Rodney Harrison picked Steelers to win. When asked after the game why he picked the Steelers, he said the Bengals are not mentally tough enough to win a game like that. Which is dumb IMO. I mean you can just go back to last year and realize that is not as much true with this current bunch. The Steelers were a better team last year than this current Steelers team, and that game decided who was going to playoffs and was not. So it was even a bigger game and meant more, and they were mentally tough enough to win that. Its an NFL game that they lost its no more no less.

I think the issue is just inconsistency. They look like world beaters one week and very average the next. They were taken out of the game plan pretty quickly and to me looked kind of shell shocked.

The biggest concern I had from the game is Marvin and Gruden had no idea they needed to play faster on offense. That was discouraging.
