December 14, 201312 yr Author I like Airplane 2 better than the original, though both were great. That one just seemed to recycle the same jokes. And they based it on a flying shuttle -- how realistic is that, compared to a jet that makes propeller noise! :idunno:
December 14, 201312 yr Agree with this fact. The Dark Knight was just a masterpiece. Used to love the TV Batman as a kid growing up with all it's silliness etc... Never got the hype of the movie versions, and ESPECIALLY "The Dark Knight" which did nothing for me but perhaps make me want to slit my wrists. That movie magnified brilliantly for me how I ordinarily am not with the majority on much, and with "The Dark Knight" most certainly not. When meeting new people I could probably instantly see where we stood with having anything in common by simply asking the question: "The Dark Knight" - Yes or No?
December 14, 201312 yr Jumper_Dad is crushing this thread right now. Spot on with all of them... ...except Temple of Doom. Great movie on its own; doesn't even compare to Raiders of the Lost Ark. Your right, but as far as sequels goes it's pretty strong!
December 14, 201312 yr Toy Story 2 wasn't that great but series bounced back with 3 it was much better
December 14, 201312 yr Attack of the Clones was MUCH better than The Phantom Menace! If you judge the Prequels as one set of movies.
December 14, 201312 yr Just for you GetSlow Christmas Story II is great just for getting to see Randy in his new "Sailor Suit" Randy Visiting SpinDoc!
December 14, 201312 yr Godfather II. Come on, folks. It's debatable if it is as good as the first, but both are tremendous. I believe both won Best Picture.
December 14, 201312 yr Maybe Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Dark Knight Rises. I might be able to buy what you're sellin here. I loved Batman Begins because it was unlike any of the previous recently done Batman movies, they just took it to a whole new level and left you wanting more/looking forward to the next film.
