Sorry Spindoc.......I dont think they can beat BC twice........ :thumb:

Watch out Rose Hill. Tomcats get a hard earned win tonight in Russell. Big momentum for districts. Maybe you should go ahead and schedule batting practice for Wednesday. JK. Well kinda...... :p

I put my thoughts into post #2 on this thread.

I have no problem whatsoever with you (or anyone else) holding the opinion that Rose Hill can, or will, win this game. Personally, I think Rose Hill is still another season away, but looking at Ashland's track record, and the way Rose Hill has played lately, I can see why someone might think they could pull the upset.

I think Rose Hill has a weakness or two (mainly they are still VERY young), but I wouldn't call out a high school kid by name - just to speak ill of him.

Just my two cents' worth ...

Frances

Well said old girl. And to think that Ashland fans get beat up for some of their remarks about the Hill. Looks like things are the same everywhere huh?

I was just stating facts Fran about the Hish School kid.

What you stated is your opinion, which you are certainly entitled to do. But, opinions and facts are most always not the same. I agree with Frances on this..... post your opinions, we enjoy reading other points of view. But dogging a kids perceived flaws in a public forum is not what this site is about.

That is MY opinion. Is it a fact? Decide for yourself.

This thread is really something else – now featuring the pious Luke 1:37 in tandem with the Walrus to form the dynamic duo of Ashland bashing.

Together, they prove Frances’ point very nicely.

I can agree completely with your closing statement.

As opposed to the grace demonstrated by a hypocritical remark...

You may choose not to believe this, but EVERY school has "a group" of fans that whine and "cry foul" when their team loses. Rose Hill is no different. EVERY school also has a group of fans that understand that when they lose, it is because the better team (that night) won the game. Again, Rose Hill is no different.

What a rare combination of wisdom, beauty and grace you are.

Ashland is peaking at the right time and I think Rose Hill is a year away from contending.

Who will be matching up with who?

RH starting line up will look something like this:

Chad Jackson

Caleb Snyder

Dakota Euton

Kyle Baire

David Chinn

Subs:

Michael Fuller

Jonny Bush

Tony Arthur

and for Ashland

Williams

McDavid

Thomas

Cannoy

Wilcox

Subs:

Reliford

Bonner perhaps he may play a lot to add rebounds?

The difference between RH and Ashland is: if RH loses the game, they will wake-up the next morning and go to school, thankful that they played their best and work at getting better. No pointing fingers or blaming anyone but themselves for losing. Now if by chance RH wins, the Ashland group will try and find a way to say RH cheats or that Ashland is not on a "level playing field" with the private schools. My thinking is, as adults, lets just enjoy these young people's temendous athletic ability and praise the victor and support the loser. The best approach is: Win with humility and lose with grace.

Cmon, is that really necessary? Do you know enough about Ashland to honestly believe that?

Ashland confidence is as high as it has been in 2 years right now, so I feel there is no way they lose this game. I was glad to see Rose Hill defeat BC because that serves as a good wake up call for the Tomcats to take Rose Hill seriously.

Flynn will have his team playing right; Rose Hill too young (team to beat in years 2007-2010)

You see know way they Tcats lose this one?

You see know way they Tcats lose this one?

Do you mean "You see NO way the Tcats lose this one?" I mean of course it is within the realm of possibilities, but I think it is definitely not likely. But I know both teams will come out fired up and be playing to win.
