"Angels We Have Heard On High" - traditional French carol; translated in English in 1862 by the Most Reverend James Chadwick, the Roman Catholic Bishop of Hexham and Newcastle; arranged by John Rutter; performed by the Choir of King's College, Cambridge

Won't be the last time the King's College Choir shows up on my list. They've got game.

And just for good measure...

A walrus couple having a pairs figure skate to the tune from "Will Vinton's Claymation Christmas", a special that has unfortunately been forgotten by the TV networks but lives again on YouTube.

Love this thread Getslow! Looking forward to all the posts before Christmas.

I know we have all seen pictures and have heard about this being done.....

Neighbors at the cul-de-sac end of the street go crazy with the lights. 2 houses in particular add more and more each year.

So the house next to them basically waived the white flag. They made a big clever light up "DITTO" sign. :lol2:

I like the U2 version of Baby Please Come Home

I like Montgomery Gentry's "Merry Christmas from the Family" :)

^ Haunting but profoundly beautiful. Was considering putting that one up after Christmas on the Feast of the Holy Innocents.

Man I love that one. A couple of years ago when my wife was studying over in Wales, I went and visited her not too long before Christmas. We took a short trip to Bath, and there was a man playing that on the classical guitar in the outdoor Christmas market. We were walking through am outdoor market in a British city with Medieval (and ancient) European roots, it was snowing, and here was this guy playing a centuries-old Christmas song. It was amazing.

Pretty strong version of "Little Drummer Boy."

When I was in the Conner chamber choir we used to bring the house down with this one.
