December 1, 201312 yr I apologize but this is just a thing I'm going to do. Now that it's December, I'm going to spend the days between now and Christmas Day counting down my 25 favorite Christmas carols. I'll put up a new one every day. Feel free to add in your own favorites. And it doesn't have to be songs, it can also be pictures or cartoons or other holiday things you come across over the next three and a half weeks. A brief disclaimer: if you hear it in the mall, it's probably not going to show up here. Partially because I don't like them but mostly because I'm just a snob...
December 1, 201312 yr Author No. 25 Christmastime is Here by Vince Guaraldi and Lee Mendelson; performed by the Vince Guaraldi Trio and vocals by the cast of "A Charlie Brown Christmas" Total sentimental choice. I'm not a big jazz fan by any means but I love this tune. Very cool and relaxed... and let's not kid ourselves, Guaraldi could play. Thought it was a good way to kick this off. December 1, 201312 yr I have the tribute album to Guaraldi, played by George Winston. He was incredibly talented.
December 1, 201312 yr I have my #1 so this is a good test to see if you truly have good taste Getslow I'll wait until you either post it or after your list is complete. Only hint I will give is it's 2 singers singing the song.

Only hint I will give is it's 2 singers singing the song. I'm almost certain I know which song you're talking about. If so, it'll be here later on. I should have mentioned, I didn't rank these with regard to particular recordings but the carols themselves; and I'll post multiple versions of the same song if I like them.
