Final from Paris.

Congrats to the Pirates on advancing to yet another 3A title game! :thumb:

Congrats to my friends from Belfry.

Ol' papa had Belfry by 8 in the predictions thread; just thought there would be more points scored on both sides.

Good call old man! :thumb:

Proud to be a Pirate!!! State bound!!!! Congrats to both teams

Belfry played pretty sloppy with penalties but made the plays they had to make. I don't think Bourbon was used to playing 4 quarters and it showed as Belfry's line wore them down. Officiating really left a lot to be desired tonight

That seems to have been the story on Belfry all season. They will have their hands full next weekend against Wayne County. I do think, however, that Belfry will pull it out.

Congratulations to Belfry, one more, stay focused boys and bring home the title

Congrats

BRING THAT TITLE HOME!!!

Any game stats? Seemed like Bourbon didn't get their play markers involved. Didn't really try running to the outside at all.

I saw a lot of complaints on Twitter about Belfry being classless and winning with no class. What is that about?

If true, that would be very surprising. I've never seen that from many years of watching Belfry play.

There's a lot about it on twitter. Looks like it's mostly directed at the fans.

I didn't see any of that from the game. As gchs stated it would be out of character for a Belfry team to act out that way and if they did it would be dealt with swiftly.

I didn't see any if it from the fans either but it wouldn't surprise me if it got a little chippy between fans.

There was a lot if ridiculous banter between the two fan bases all week last week apparently in twitter and other forums. Both sides traded a lot of juvenile jabs and some of it was over the top.

Anything in particular?
