November 23, 201312 yr Big, dumb football... it's not just for Will Muschamp anymore. Watching this team has become a chore that simply isn't enjoyable. The grumbles turned to something more than grumbling in the stands during the second half today. The offensive line is awful, special teams remains awful and Strong and Watson don't really seem to care.

November 23, 201312 yr If I was a UL fan I would be embarrassed by the attendance today. The athletics department at UofL has chosen to treat the university's sports teams like a business. The side effect is that the fans do too... and this is not fun football to watch. At no time did I think Louisville was going to lose this game. Just like last week and the week before. It's just not entertaining. It's awful. They're competing for our money and our attention and the football team just isn't a compelling product at this point.

Ugh. I shouldn't even be mad. Louisville's 10-1. But I sit there every week and I'm JUST. BORED. Football is not an incredibly compelling game to begin with: most of the time nothing is happening and the games take forever. But this is something entirely different. I'm just not interested.

That would mean the stadium was 15-20% empty, at most. I agree it looked bad, but let's not exaggerate.
November 23, 201312 yr The offense just isn't producing like it should, and it's not the players on the field. The offensive line isn't what it's been in the past, but that isn't the only reason, and I'm tired of people bailing out Watson using that as an excuse. 17 points against Memphis is unacceptable, and most of it is on Watson.

It was bad... Yall will get no argument from me on that. One games attendance has zero impact on Strong going or staying. Even with Today's numbers, UofL set a single season attendance record by more than 16,000 fans.

November 24, 201312 yr Attendance has been great all season. I am not sure why folks didnt show today. I will say Coach Bedford tweet last week might had something to do with some. He called out fans for leaving early. I have said all year you want me in my seat early and you want me to stay then put something on the field that meets my expectations. I am not lowering my expectations because you think everything is fine. Yes I am still Salty over the UCF loss.
