Always cool to see 2 schools playing back to back in the state game and the schools are 1 mile apart. Big obstacle this week, always like this matchup. Somerset has good fans and a bunch of respect going BOTH ways. Go Breds!

Totally agree.....

Huge Mac Franzen fan. I coached Mac in the FTJFL for 2 years are were 2 of the best years of coaching that I have been part of. Huge respect for what the Breds do year in and year out. Very special program!

Not ignorant at all, you took it wrong, they are a city School independent, Go Birds and Breds

I'm afraid to ask but What exactly is a pubic school? I know private/public but pubic.

Noted!

Independent Schools are Public Schools also, exactly like the schools in county systems...no difference except that they are completely surrounded by a county school system and they in most cases have limited school district boundaries that are set by the larger surrounding county system. There is no inherit advantage to being an independent city school system.

Looking forward to the "BGP pizza summit"!!! I will get times later for any that would like to attend at the Carothers Rd. LaRosa's

Special guest of honor, Jumper_Dad and AverageJoesGym. :thumb:

I may be in for this. I have to see what my wife's game plan is w/ her family in town for Thanksgiving.

Maybe I'll stop down. I need to teach JumperDad a few things about the football playoff system...watered down...other sports, etc.

Just kidding! Just kidding! Good luck to both teams! I may try to check this one out!

Well at least we agree on this! :ylsuper:

 We might not have enough time before the game starts if you two start this debate.

I'm hoping to go to BG early to catch NewCath's game, then watch the Birds win
