Does Frankfort practice on the same field where the game is being played?

I didn't think so but wanted to be sure. Since the field won't be used till next Friday, it should be in good shape. As to possible wet conditions, who has the advantage - a running team or a passing team?

Always a running team, IMO.

Beechwood is more pass than run this year, although they have improved a lot running the ball as the season goes on. Is Frankfort more run or more pass?

They try to be balanced. They play from a spread look mostly.

Beechwood would like to be more run but you go with what you do best. I don't think either team has a big advantage in wet weather.

Who do you guys feel has the advantage up front?

FCHS, folks have played both, and Beechwood is a better team, but Frankfort, can make plays with their pressure defense that could make the game interesting. I look for Beechwood to pull away late.

That is a good question TP. Typically, this is really where Beechwood wins this game. But this is the area that has been the biggest work in progress for the Tigers this year. I think the Beechwood devensive line is looking the best it has all year. The offensive line is improving but still needs to get better.

I really think this years game comes down to field position and turnovers. Frankfort cant give BW a short field. They also cant put the ball on the ground like they did in last years game and last week. last thing like all football games it is about Off./Def. lines.

Eight different Beechwood players have caught at least 10 passes this season, led by senior wide receivers Jalen Hayden with 31 and Max Shover with 27.

There is a lot of speed and depth in the skill positions for the Tigers.

Here is the article on Beechwood from this morning's Enquirer:

Who is better up front is a great question. BW struggled running the football in their 4A-6A portion of the schedule with the exception being Franklin County and Holmes, not that they ran over Franklin County, that would be a lie, they did run the ball effectively enough to keep the defense honest. Once they hit their 1A portion of the schedule the run game has come around quite nicely, not where it needs to be mind you, but improvement has been shown every week. The defensive line for BW has really improved the past 5-6 weeks, they are settled in and doing a good job of stopping the run and putting pressure on the qb.

If it is wet and sloppy I look for the game to be in the 21-17 range, obvioulsy I'm rooting for BW, but this will be a close game, just hope I can stay dry while watching it!

I feel BW is the favorite due to the fact they are much more disciplined. Frankfort has a long history of stupid personal fouls this will come into play. BW knows this and will maintain their composure .....IMO anyway.
