November 4, 201312 yr How Stanford is number 5 is beyond me. That loss to Utah is just awful. All I know is they're my great hope. Of all the games being played by the top two teams in the human poll, that's the one I consider most ripe for an L. I have zero faith in anyone that has to play in Autzen. November 4, 201312 yr I know that I will get plenty of arguments and yes, the Big 10 is down but with the way that OSU is playing on both sides of the ball, especially the last couple of weeks I would put them at #3. 1. Alabama 2. Florida State 3. Ohio State 4. Oregon 5. Baylor 6. Clemson / Stanford

November 4, 201312 yr IMO, the top three is spot on. I think Ohio State and Baylor is pretty equal; definitely don't agree with Stanford's ranking.

November 4, 201312 yr I've heard some say that if Oregon and Florida State both win out, Oregon would have the advantage because their strength of schedule will be improving in the next month, while Florida State's schedule peaked with the Miami game. If I'm an FSU fan, I'm rooting hard for Miami to go 11-1 so the Noles can beat them again in the ACC championship. I'd also be rooting for Stanford to beat Oregon because I'm not sure Stanford can catch Florida State. Of course, if you're a Seminoles fan, an Alabama loss wouldn't hurt your feelings either! Oh, and the biggest thing Florida State has to do: KEEP WINNING.

Maybe you shouldn't buy into the Ohio State defense until they play a team with an offense better than an average high school program?
