I put at the end of one of my last game threat posts last night "that the way I feel now the Purples could beat the Jacksonville Jaguars".

Apparently this game has now been posted at Casinos up and down the strip. The line opened at Jags -10.5, but after the Purples put the beat-down on another out-of-state team (Go KY! Rah!), it dropped to Jags -8.5. The O/U is 56.5, but since we know the Jags can't stop Fant, that seems low.

 

I know I'm obligated to root like the dickens' for all in-state teams versus all out-of-state teams (by the way, how did MY Eminence Warriors do this weekend against the team from Ohio I've never heard of?), I'm obviously rooting like crazy for the figthting Purples of Nashville North. Now that said, I'm inclined to take the Jags and give the points, but I haven't firmed that up yet.

 

I'm literally lost that I now have no in-state teams to crazily root for against out-of-state teams since the playoffs have started. Those folks in Metropolis and Cairo are awfully lucky that we've now turned on our own for the duration!
