The Conner offense is rolling right now and they will be tough to stop on Saturday. All the pieces coming together right now for the Cougars heading into bracket play. This should be a fun game to watch. I hope CCH is at full strength for this one. I think they need to stop Sam Dressman as he is the heart of the team and put tremendous pressure on the young QB from the edges with Way and McKeehan. Hopefully Wagner makes his comeback, I would really like to see him in action. Looking forward to this one. The Cougars will be a tough out in the 5A bracket in a couple of weeks. Their D is really picking it up this year and their receiving corp just keeps getting better each week.

Better hope CovCath don't run on their defense! :D

As for a prediction, I think while Conner has the best player in the game, CovCath may have the next best 5. Add in it being at CovCath, and them being salty from last year's weather-impacted debacle, plus a chip on the shoulder that I'm sensing has developed, and I think CovCath actually wins it somewhat comfortably.

 

If Luke Bir is healthy, and I have no idea of his status, than I think it will be decidedly one-sided. Will be interesting to see if Andrew Way can have a big game against his cousin and company. If the Colonels can keep A-Way in check, Conner's job will be that much more difficult.

Can Cov Cath score 40 points on Conner? I would be shocked if Conner scored 40 on Cov Cath. The high scores above seem like a stretch to me. I see the game being more low scoring. There is a chance the winning team hits 30 but I would be very surprised if both teams were over 30 points. I think it is more like a 27-21 game at the most.
