duck1220
I'll go out on a limb early and pick the "Wizard of Westwood" to pull a moderate upset over Boyd Co. Coach Cooksey's team might make some noise this year at the regional if they can pull this game out of the hat! :thumb:
AshlandTomcat41
Looks pretty good to me. But Ashland did beat Elliot, I think #5 is pretty a pretty fair spot for the Cats right now.

UKCATSFAN
Without Clark, That is a good spot for Russell, But with Clark I think they jump to at least #3 and probaly #2. Russell's loses to Fairview and Boyd(twice) both came without Kasey. I believe Clark played for a short bit against Fairview but had to leave the game because of the injury substained in the State Championship. Blair was also out for the Fairview game. No disrespect to either team, they're both very capable teams who have just as good a chance to win the region as anyone. I just believe that at full strength Russell is behind Morgan Co. as the top teams. Now whether Russell will be at full strength for the rest of the year or not is yet to be determined. We'll just have to wait and see. I also think that Ashland is going to make a run, their record comes from a brutal schedule and they are one of the better teams also.A poll in this region does not mean too much, especially this year, but this is just my opinion. This should be really fun to watch.
Cubster
I am not too good at copy and paste so I reposted my first poll on December 15th of this year. Interesting to see if there was much change. If someone can go there and get it on this thread I would appreciate it.

Cubster
Not too far off. Elliott has climbed a lot and Rose Hill moved up as expected. Had Rowan a little low. Top 6-7 pretty much the same with some slight changes.
UKCATSFAN
Good original poll, Cubster. That's pretty close to what I'd pick today. Here's what I believe, Debates Welcome.......... 1. Morgan- Obviously the top team 2. Russell ( If full stregth, 6th if not ) Playing well when at full stregth, Vanhoose can keep them in any game 3. Boyd- best scorer in region on team 4. Fairview- solid well-rounded 5. Ashland- tough schedule will pay dividends 6. Elliott- young but explosive 7. Rowan- Daniels can shoot with anyone 8. East- some quality wins 9. Greenup- new "STALL BALL" still new to players 10.Raceland- a team nobody wants to play Can't wait for Boyd vs Fairview in 64th first round. Somebody's going home. Where is the district's, anyone? I think it's @ Boyd, I could be wrong.

Tubby's Best Friend
How many games can a kid miss after quitting and then rejoin the team? What are we teaching young adults?
AshlandTomcat41
Yeah, I was really surprised at what Dodd said in the paper about him rejoining the team possibly.......
UKCATSFAN
The situation @ Russell and Clark is not one of the norm. It's not like most cases of a boy quitting because he's mad about playing time or mad because he got benched or whatever the case may be. It's not a case of a spoiled kid just quitting out of anger or spite. It's a whole different situation.
