Lots of rants on here by dennis, but yet to answer a simple question. I would also ask are there NCC yard signs in southern Boone County, because that pipeline has supplied a few athletes the the Breds here and there. I suppose it is only wrong if someone else does it.

Many St Joe and St Mary kids go to NewCath cause their family did. They grew up watching the Blue and Gold and want to be a part of it like their parents aunts and uncles. If parents are going to spend 6K or whatever tuition is now, NOBODY has the right to tell them where they have to spend their money. It is up to the family.

 

Just for the record, I have no problem with a kid going wherever they want. Mostly just having fun with dennis. Sometimes Highlands is his target, today it is Cov. Cath, but one thing is for sure, the time spent looking in the mirror is minimal.

I would say how many HC signs were in yards in Cincinnati? Who really cares? It is not illegal for Catholic schools to recruit. Guess what, they aren't just recruiting for sports. They are recruiting for tuition-paying students. That is their first priority. If they play sports, even better. Look at the Thursday night games on fox sports. How many times do you see that commercial for Moeller HS? There are ZERO rules when it comes to recruiting kids to play at Catholic schools as long as they are paying tuition.

They should just combine NewCath and Brossart. I know we have talked about this before. The bishop is cheap. Yeah I said it Im catholic and will think about being sorry for it on Sunday at mass but its true. Combine the schools now before they both fall off the map. In the long run cost of catholic schools will be the downfall of many of them. I know the bishop shot down the idea several years ago claiming "inner city kids" Maybe 10 kids tops walk to NewCath if that. Most of NewCath students are from Ft Thomas, Highland Heights and Cold spring. The rest (maybe 25-30%) are few from Newport Bellevue and Dayton. Build on AA wilder-ish area, Campbell County Catholic. If nothing else Mustang will stop being mad about kids going to NewCath then. HAHA Just messing with you don't go getting all mad again!!

We know you have around 600 but my point was if you had 1000 it would not mater. If you need more kids stay on your side of the river. And you guys talk about Highlands.

Since the question deals with NCC and GCL I'm not sure what the hell you're talking about.

Your right they would get HAMMERED, but the reference to NewCath playing in the GCL was not about today, but back when the Breds did play in the GCL. Thus the question "is Brossart playing in 2A like NewCath (back in the day) playing in the GCL"?

I think what he is saying is that Cov Cath couldn't beat HHS even if CCH had 1000 boys.
