The way each team has played I would be afraid to make a prediction! I guess it will depend on which team is going up and which is going down on their season rollercoaster ride the night the game is played!

Alittle off subject, but can someone fron the JC side give me alittle insight on a 6'5-6'6 frosh that has transfered from JC to Owen Co. Is he any good , potential, why did he leave? Thanks in advance.

I have heard that several Freshman have quit this team. Maybe Proud Eagle can fill us in on why they are quiting.

The fresmen I think you are referring to would be Josh Allford. Saw limited playing time on JV team. Doesn't shoot like Steve.

JC by 4...I believe that home court is worth something in this game. There are a few more seniors on Johnson Central's squad than that of Paintsville's. And those seniors would despise nothing more than allowing the Tigers to come to their home court in their district finale and knock them off. In this case, I believe that home court will definitely be an advantage.

Maybe so, but it didn't help last year!!

Josh Alford saw limited play in JV but was improving at a quick pace...I hated to see him go and yes we did a couple freshman quit but hey that's their decision

Both of these teams are very Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde. If the two teams that play to their potential show-up then this will be a game for the ages. If either one of their evil twin shows, it could be an embarrassment. But, I hope, the rivalry will bring out the best of both teams. JC by 2!

Well, the fact is, Paintsville is much more talented than any team in the region. After watching them at Sheldon Clark on Friday, they seem to be coming together, and are taking a much more positive approach to playing.

 

I guess it is yet to see if they will play to their talent level and ability. If they don't, look for a very close game, but if they do, look for a double digit win for the Tigers.
