Our D must change some things. I believe our 3 - 4 exposes our secondary. We have zero pass rush.

They gave up 500 yards of offense but still won by a margin of 36 points. That is pretty impressive to me.

I agree, but it shouldn't though. Playing a 3-4 there should be 4 or 5 guys coming just about every time. But for whatever Coach Walsh will drop 8 and rush only the down 3 linemen. That would be fine, but his DL does not generate any pass rush. So then it turns into pretty much 7 on 7 with the QB having all day to find an open WR.

 

They have to send more guts at the QB so that the QB must hurry and make quicker decisions. If I was calling the shots, I would seriously consider putting Ealker as the SS and blitzing him from time time. In high school you have to blitz athletes at athletes, because in a lot of instances a teams best athlete is their QB.

No fundamentals were laid when forming this Team which will lead to some awful games coming up here and potentially end the Tigers season way shorter than anyone of us on here could think possible.

And we have a winner! This is not coach Walsh's deal. Yet another Pro to High School burp change brought in by the current staff. X can't cover the flats or the deep ball Pass rush is slow to develop because all interior line is doubled up. Bring in an easily scouted blitz every play and nothing about it works. 8 games in and a 4-4 record Let Walsh go back to what these kids have done since freshman year and he may be able to salvage something
