At least the Braves keep putting themselves in a position to win the World Series which is a lot better than can be said about the other teams around the majors. As much as it sucks to keep losing year in and year out, at least we have that chance to win it all. Still missing a key player or two. Still need a "true" #1 pitcher and also need a 2nd basemen or OF that can hit for a decent average. Elliot Johnson, Dan Uggla, and Evan Gattis (in the OF) aren't going to cut it. Will be interesting to see if the McCann isn't resigned in the offseason and if we decide to let Uggla go/trade him. Need to put that money to use somewhere else like resigning some of our younger players and pursing FAs.

October 9, 201312 yr There were a lot of holes in this year's team and injuries didn't help. Too many K's from the batters and no real ace. Weren't really constructed for the postseason. I am a long-time Braves fan. I don't think they choked this year but finished just about where they should. In years past, let me just say they badly "underachieved." I cannot really offer a defense to the choke allegtion for some years.
