In head to head matchups he out performed Barker, Kuntz he had an 80 yard TD before the monsoon hit. I give you Barker, Kuntz and Houlstin are the top three but he is not far behind.

I have been a huge Will Ludwig supporter this year and think what he has done this season no one would of guessed before the season started.

The QB position for Cooper along with the line play were the biggest questions going into the season. W. Ludwig more than passed the test this year. Ludwig has done a great job this year, and surpassed what I think many peoples expectations were.

 

There are only 3 QB's from the NKY area listed in the top 15 state wide in passing. Those 3 are:

 

D Houliston with 300 yards per game

D Barker with 236 yards per game

W Ludwig with 219 yards per game

 

That has to say something about how well he's done this year in only the first year being the varsity starting QB.

You lose credibility when you say a)look at the stats and b) he outperformed Barker. Kid threw 53 passes. Drew threw 15. So how did he "outperform" him?

 

He's solid. Not great. Lots of good intangibles. Arm strength is average. Floats a lot of balls. Nice athlete. I'd still take the kid from Campbell County, Fieger from BW, and maybe the Bellevue kid.

 

As always I'm saying this in a relative measure and not an absolute as in "can he /can't he?" Kid can play. I just don't think he's as good as you or others.

True, and going into his last game Ludwig only had 3 yet threw almost twice as many passes as someone you are talking about. Btw, who are the 3? Barker has 4 int's.
