What kind of offers have Houliston gotten? He has to be going somewhere next year. Anyone know of schools showing interest?

 

I think it's clearly D Barker and Houliston as the top 2 in the area and then comes Kuntz, and the rest. Very good QBs and hope they all get a chance to p,ay at the next level because it will be fun to follow them.

I said before (and ,heck, it was probably somewhere in this thread) he reminds me of Blake Bir in his strengths and weaknesses so I could see him at a UD, Butler, Morehead.

I thought it was about the best NKY QB's. Sorry I had to bring up a QB that has had a pretty good year also.

Sorry, just thought if you were going to talk about the best in the area then you may want to expand your mind to include some of the best is all. Sorry, didn't realize having 1 listed on the top 15 in the state according to KHSAA, ahead of someone on the narrow list, wouldn't be such an issue, but I guess closed minds don't want the facts but would rather stay in the fishbowl that was presented.

Seriously?!? If you've read my post in here, which you clearly haven't you would see who I thought the best were and just because I thought the conversation could be expanded to mention some honorable mentions then shoot me for having a broader mind than the closed minded Highlands folks.

Thank god we didn't have a poll with only 3 mentioned for the best WR in NKY because none of the Highlands WR's would be mentioned and you would probably blow a gasket because there would be no reason for you to even hijack another thread and make it a HHs thread.

Maybe we should have a mod just take out the names Houliston and Kuntz because after Barker does it really matter who is left? He is in a class by himself afterall.

Barker is the best not only in the area but the state IMO. Why even talk about Houliston or anyone else?

Here's my ranking. Note that in today's world running counts when evaluating QBs. I don't think Moore is a strong passer but his effectiveness in the position is there.

 

1. Barker

3. Houliston

4. Moore

5. Fieger

6. Kid from Campbell County

7. Ludwig

8. B Dressman (moving up)

 

Note: I haven't had the chance to see the QBs at Scott or Bellevue so I'm not sure where they would rank

I have seen all 4 play this year and I would put Ludwig 4th... He is more of an athlete playing qb in my opinion. I am not saying he isn't good but he will not play qb in college..

It's really sad how you give Highlands such a bad name. Some have talked about UK#1fan and what he does for SK, although I actually like UK#1fan but you really make it hard to like anything about Highlands when they have you as a fan. What a shame.

If running counts, then why is Houliston ranked that high? He has something like -78 yards rushing this year and his career Is something like -126 rushing. I actually rank him #2 but if you are using the criteria of running also which looks like holds more weight than actual passing, then that doesn't make much sense.

 

Was just curious because Ludwig has better completion %, more yards and TD's as well as better rusher with 200 yards rushing and about a 3 yrd per rush avg compared to Fieger who only has 21 yards rushing and a 0.5 yds per rush avg.
