But many now start looking for reasons why they can debate you and that takes away from the kid's success. We all agree he is an outstanding high school QB. Just let it be that for now! He didn't beat Barker head to head and we all know you don't really believe that, but those types of comments do more harm than help for the kid!

 

Head to head stats. At the time of the game SK was more of a running team right now they are more of a passing team.

 

Kuntz 14-17 82% 149 passing yards 1 tds and 17 rushes 110 yards, 2 tds

Barker 28-44 63% 356 passing yards 4 tds and 20 rushes 55 yards 1 td

I'd take this years crop. 2 years ago even D Barker would admit he was still feeling out the position and growing. Zelenograd Pike had some terrible games. I think he had something like 7 int's in his last 3 games. Zeke was not very good IMO that year. Once he had his recruiting done he went downhill fast. The best that yr were Towles and Bir.

With people debating D3 QBs to him. Barker had a lot more steam before Conner took the field.

Zeke defiantly threw the ball 100 times better than Ludwig does, but Ludwig performs much better in games than Zeke did that year. I wasn't going off physical abilities but performance and heart.

Still not close. Maybe he makes better decisions but after watching the 1st half of the Conner game on DVR I'd say he's a product of his receivers who are really good. Tough kid. Smart kid. He's playing out of position though.
