^ Now I agree Beechwood is really quick/fast but I think that has a lot to do with them being so small. They look like a JV team physically.

According to some of our Mayfield peeps yes they do. Simple formula for the Cards, line up, spread Beechwood out, and run right at them.

Pretty good size line but all of them have real good speed for that size. Our 300 lb lineman really can move, he is Mayfield great Mikey Bright's son.

IMO, Beechwood should start being a little more humble. I believe 3 out of the last 4 years, they have finished the regular season with a 6-4 record. Thank God the KHSAA lets everyone (or almost) everyone in the playoffs so they can pad their record a bit.

Mayfield has both size and speed but I don't guarantee a victory. Russellville will be a challenge twice.

Mf formula for Bw is simple, go watch the Mf vs PT tape or read the summary thread. Mf has a big soild line that should little problem pounding Bw. We saddled up strongman runnung back Mills and rode him to victory. Of course we also have a very special QB and the mixcan be lethal for teams like Bw.

Kel Carmen is one of the best linemen in the state in all class's. He can move and he has a strong motor.

I agree the playoff system is a joke (too many teams) but from what I understand the majority of the coaches want it so blame them, not the KHSAA.

Just wait till they see the other son , Trajon. He will take flight next year.

If VOR says it, it must be true.

VOR may have a valid point IF, beechwood is as fast as he thinks they are. I think as far asTEAM speed in our SKILL positions we may be a little slower than recent years but we still have pretty decent speed there. However, our line has VERY good speed for their size and we are very strong up front. Add all that with a great quarterback and it is a strong task for any 1-A school. Russellville will be our huge test.

I remember the 1st time BW came to Mayfield, I asked a BW fan before the game why he thought they would win , He said they were faster.

The Kool-Aid in Fort Mitchell isn't as good as it is in Fort Thomas but it is tasty.
