Yeah, I've noticed younger generation uses that word and other curse words like everyday language and don't think anything of it. Guess I'm getting really old.
October 2, 201312 yr Been to a ton of stadiums to see my teams play. Never once seen anything even close the the treatment of opposing fans in Morgantown. Keep defending it if you so desire. They are deplorable... There are bad fans everywhere. At least that's what I was told when I complained about Cincy fans on here.

I cant go into how they treated us because of the anger it brings back. No human should treat another human the way they do. I never been a place that acted that way. I will say on my way back to my car a group of WV fans messed with the wrong group of UL fans and these 3 UL fans kicked the dog snot out of these 4 rednecks. Almost made up for the hate the displayed toward me and my wife.

I know people who were punched, had beers thrown on them etc ... West Virginia is probably pretty bad. But they're definitively not alone. Best place I've seen a game as an away fan was Georgia. Saw UK football play @ Georgia and it was a great experience. Atlanta Falcons fans aren't bad either.

If we're going to compare notes for the worst venues to be a fan of the opposing team, may I suggest you go to a Ravens' game in Bengals colors or, if you want a real walk on the wild side, go to UD Arena wearing navy blue with a grey X. There are idiots (who feel tough with beer mixed with numbers) everywhere, I would agree that the WVU fans are bad, but more so, they seem to be quicker to want to get over the line than some others. I attended two soccer (SOCCER) games at WVU on the bus with an oppposing team and we had coins thrown at our windows leaving both times. SOCCER!

Another group that deserves mention for their treatment is Titans fans. Went to a Patriots game there last year and was treated great by the fans. Really awesome stadium as well.
October 2, 201312 yr I've been to the Sun Dome at USF for a basketball game, and they were really friendly to us. Been to UC twice, and the only thing we got there was the natural rival smack talk. Nothing over the top at all. Except from GT, of course.

I apologized to GT both in this forum and in an email. Thanks for the input. However, I don't think I "attack" posters personally as a rule as you point out. Unless I'm taking your post incorrectly. I'll admit I can get pretty sarcastic at times and need to get thicker skin regarding other issues. I'm a sinner, can't deny it.
