October 1, 201312 yr I take it you've never been to WVU to see the opposing team play. The worst people on earth... Only been once(a few years ago), did not notice a problem where I was. My relation that are WVU fans are fine folks and I've never heard any of them bash the opposing team by doing or saying anything out of the ordinary. I've heard worse at an OSU game.

I was simply walking into the game through the main tailgate and was spit at, had change thrown at me, was cussed out by kids no older than 13 and had two full cans of beer thrown at me. Classy bunch...

Classy bunch... I've been to WVU once for a football game (huge mistake), and also cussed out by a couple at the BE Tourney in NYC. No group worse that I've ever experienced.
October 2, 201312 yr Went to school there for a year. Morgantown the city isn't too bad, but I'm not a fan of the Jersey Shore type people that made up about 75% of the university. The one thing I will not forget, is the atmosphere of that place when they played LSU two years ago. WVU scored to pull within 5 and the place goes absolutely nuts, then LSU ran the kickoff back. . . . Needless to say besides going to visit a couple of friends, I do not plan to set foot in that state again.

This is all I'm going to post about this, the WVU fans I know are nothing like what you describe.
