September 16, 201313 yr Just wanted to share this with everyone hear and ask fro prayers for the family. Steve Briscoe, the father of one of my basketball players (Brody) was murdered in his driveway early Saturday morning while Brody and another one of my former players were asleep in the back bedroom. Some of you may have seen this on the news this weekend. Brody, as you can probably guess, is extremely shaken and upset and unfortunately saw his fathers body laying in the driveway as the sheriff and coroner were escorting him and the other kid out of the house. Neither boy saw or heard anything as they were asleep in the back of the house and were woken by the sheriff coming to the door. Just a terrible, terrible situation. Brody and the Briscoe family can use all the prayers they can get.
September 16, 201313 yr Totally sad situation, prayers sent. VMan, since our conversation on Saturday, any new info as to suspects in the case?

Kentucky State Police continue to search for 39-year-old Gary Luttrell, a suspect in an ongoing suspected homicide investigation. Gary Luttrell, 39, of Lexington is a suspect in the death of a 54-year-old Lawrenceburg man who died of a gunshot wound to the chest Saturday morning, Kentucky State Police spokeswoman Trooper Kendra Wilson confirmed Monday morning. She was found unharmed in the Shepherdsville area and was interviewed by detectives at Post 12, according to a news release. The Anderson County Coroner's Office, Anderson County sheriff's office and Kentucky State Police spent most of Saturday photographing and processing the scene at Fairview Road, Tussey said. Anderson County EMS also responded to the scene. Tussey said police consider Briscoe's death suspicious and are pursuing all available leads in the suspected homicide investigation. He said he believes Briscoe lived the Fairview Road residence with his son. Kentucky State Police is in charge of the investigation.
