both QB's have very nice arms.

CCH wins 33-22. Both teams took advantage of dumb turnovers. SK stayed in the game in the first half off tow broken coverages and nice plays by their QB. Other than that, the CCH defense did OK.

Heard Anthony Best of CCH and the SK QB were the two studs in this one.

Anthony had a good game. Ran some nice screens behind a line that set up the blocks very well.

SK's QB made some nice decisions. Got pressured on a pretty regular basis.

CCH undefeated with arguably their best player (Vonhandorf) still on the bench with an injury. Hentz is performing pretty well in his place at QB.

Highlands up next.

Defending the screen pass and long snapping to the punter were the demise of SK tonight. 2 snaps over the punters head and 1 that caused him to kneel to catch the ball gave CC 3 short fields that led to 2 TDs. CC set their screens up very well I don't think they had 1 that went for less than 15 yards maybe more.

CC's QB I thought played really well quick reads and for the most part accurate passes. He missed a few receivers but for the most part was on target.

Tanner Green SK's QB continues to improve. This is only his 2nd year as a QB and he gets better every game. As he matures and learns to get rid of the ball quicker he will only get better. A lot so SK's passing yards were run after the catch yards. They did a very good job in the short passing game tonight. I hope to see this rematch in late October.

Sorry for the late post but I am back to work and as thus had to go back to work for 2 hours after this game.

Crow is being served in Independence right now...Just sayin

Very, very nice crowd in attendance for this game and in fact IMHO larger than some of the Varsity games vs. PC and Harrison County.

Congrats and nice win for the young Blueboys as the CovCath football program has been thru hell and back in the last couple of weeks.

Great to see a positive:thumb:

Iam sure SK had problems with their headsets...

You'd think the only time SK plays Cov Cath (whether Varsity, JV or Freshman) that certain someone would be chomping at the bit to talk about it.

Instead...Crickets

Nice win for the youngsters.

A few games into the season, who are the teams that look like they'll compete for #1? CCH/Conner/Highlands/Conner?

From the teams I've seen I'd say Cov Cath and Conner

Iam sure SK had problems with their headsets...

That only happens to Highlands!

Nice win for the youngsters.
