Would have like to seen this game with Vonhandorf and Racke quarterbacking their teams. Green for SK did make some nice decisions but he lacks in arm strength and isn't going to play in front of Racke at the QB position. He will be at wideout in the future if he wants to play. I thought the middle LB for SK, #44 was a stud, he had at least four tackles for losses and was in a quite a few other plays.

 

I didn't think Cov Cath used Angel enough. Several times he was lined up by himself with a much smaller defender on him. He could have easily out jumped and over powered his defender. Maybe when Cole gets under center that will change. The size of Cov Cath line was very impressive, they have some big boys in Park Hills.

Good to hear young Mr Angel is doing well. Must get his athletic skills from his mothers side.

Lots of weapons on the team. Angel being one, but Shelton, Tuemler, Best, France, Schrand and Hentz all have the same make up and tools and making all of them a legitimate threat to touch the ball is what I believe makes this team special. Can't key on one two or even three players.

 

I think you will see the dynamics change greatly with CVH. Not that Hentz is doing a poor job - he's doing a very fine job. Cole just brings a tremendous running threat as well as his arm when he's back there.

 

Defensively this team is very fast. Still learning some new spots which gets them out of position sometime but that will come.

44 is Brian Carter the younger brother of Eric Carter who is starting linebacker for the varsity right now. Brian can flat out play he will fight for varsity minutes next year.

Young Mr. Hentz is doing an OUTSTANDING job at QB this year for the Freshman Colonels! Kudos to him for leading this talented team.
