Curious how many Louisville folks go to see...

....the St. X/Trinity game? I'm not talking about the bloodbought faithful from each school. I'm talking about the casual fan, or a fan whose affiliation is for another school in Jeff. Co.. Do you make it a point to go see that one? I will be in the area for good and am wondering if it's worth the trip/traffic when I have no affiliation to either school.

Over the years many Jefferson County schools have played their games on Thursday night before the X/T game on Friday. Many students from the public schools atttend the game.

Are you serious? The other schools change the night they play because of the T/X game? That says a lot right there.

I had no idea. That's simply awesome.

Go see St. X and BG. We already know the Trinity/St. X outcome. :D

Just kidding.

We all know BG is going to win too. :D

Spindoc,

I'm an '83 T grad & I have seen every X-T game played since I saw my first one in '74. The games the last 3 years have been fairly subdued attendance-wise (relatively speaking) but I am looking for an absolute barn-burner this year &, if the weather is nice, may very well finally top 40k in attendance...GO ROCKS!

You know I'm just kidding. :D. Anyone who knows how BG/St. X, Trinity/St. X will turn out can pick the numbers for my next lottery ticket.

Sold. So I have to wonder how many schools play early for this one? I guess it makes sense if you are gonna have half the crowd because they will be watching this one.

Cool beans. I've been to Bengals games that didn't have that many.

If I were in the area, I would absolutely attend. It is not uncommon for Mr. lawildcat and I to go to games where neither of us have any connection; we just like to watch good matchups.
