Yes, but you left mayfield off. I'm sure they feel they are #1 in 1A, 2A and 3A.

Looks good to me. I really think Newcath is the best team in 2A but considering what Caldwell Co returns, you can't go wrong with them at #1.

I believe these rankings are a more statewide view of 2A. I know there are a lot of northern KY people on this site, but you still have to take a statewide view when you rank the whole class. I, also, believe that NCC is a very good team, just like my Tigers, but I think these rankings are just right.

Bardstown had a solid opening week win over Green Co., but as always, my pessimistic self says that their status means nothing until they play and beat CAL and Desales. However, Nelson County is pretty good this year so a win in week 3 would be a nice benchmark, too.

Other than the way they took their foot off the accelerator a little too early for my tastes Friday, I left quite impressed with NC's play. I'm very much looking forward to that game, and it could have the makings of a classic.
