Coach Wirth has things going in the right direction in Park Hills. I think Holy Cross should go sit down with CCH to see how they do things. It starts with the administartion. HC has really big problems in that front office. Koz should take that over and be principal if he wants to see the school get going in the right direction again on and off the field

The Holy Cross stats team have a new link this year to live stats, box score, and now we have live play-by-play updates. The latest box score/game summary with links to stats will appear in the middle of the page on the day of the game. All the games in the schedule on the right have links too. All the players on the left have their own links to pages with stats that update LIVE. We have also embedded links to upcoming games with video streams provided by NKYSports.com and Tri State Internet Sports Radio right into the live stats page.

I totally agree with others on this thread, SK wins by as much as they want to and I hope all walk away from the gridiron without being injured.

From what I was told Kozerski thought he would have a better team this year. That is why he scheduled SK.

 

My question would be, why did SK schedule HC?

2 very short years ago, Holy Cross beat NCC and won the 2A state title. Nobody could have predicted that they would fall off as far as they have. I personally expected them to capitalize on that state title and start getting all kinds of kids. This game was probably scheduled before HC fell off the map last year.

 

So what? How many "decent" 6A schools even have a 2A team on their schedule? Why??? Could care less they were a one-hit wonder and you couldn't foresee a drop off.

6A St. X (1400 boys) plays 3A Louisville Central (400 Boys). St. X is pretty "decent".

SK (875 boys) plays Holy Cross (230 boys). Kentucky has too many classes. 6A looks huge compared to 2A, but would it look as big if it 4A vs. 2A? Highlands played a team last week that they doubled in enrollment with 450 boys over UC's 200 boys. Either way, I could care less who plays who because I don't stand on a soap box.

SK gets a breather to fine tune everything after a very tough scrimmage and first game. They should have all the kinks worked out for the beat down they give Conner next week!
