That's arguable. Looking at HC's schedule, I see maybe 2 wins. All I can say is Wow!

2 very short years ago, Holy Cross beat NCC and won the 2A state title. Nobody could have predicted that they would fall off as far as they have. I personally expected them to capitalize on that state title and start getting all kinds of kids. This game was probably scheduled before HC fell off the map last year.

They've had nothing since. Fuller and Walker were good athlete's and the perfect storm formed for a state championship. I'm not taking anything away from that, but they got hot at the right time. I would say look at what they have done since, not good. Beal is a good back, but he doesn't have the supporting cast like Fuller and Walker had.

I agree. They have really fallen off the map. They still won a state title 13 games ago, which is why this game was probably scheduled.

SK should cancel the second year of this contract. HC scheduled horribly the next 2yrs. They have Campbell Co, Holmes, Scott, Beechwood, Conner, and SK the next 2yrs. Why would they do this and why would these teams want to keep them on the schedule. HC had a great run 2yrs ago, but the talent level is not there anymore to compete with big schools. I hope Koz gets out of some of these contracts for next year, just for the kids sake.

I wish HC would improve. I miss the HC hype machine that was always in full effect in August.

The real question may be, will the SK JV squad outplay the HC varsity? Looking forward to seeing the young Racke get some snaps at QB for the Pioneers.
