How many BGPers have you met?

I'd like to do a little mini-tour and hit 3-4 KY towns and meet up with people at each stop.

I could go to Ashland on a Friday and pickup Ram and LRCW then we could all head to NKY for a ballgame and hit leatherneck's house for the after party. Then the next day drive to Lousiville and have a big party in the parking lot of spindoc's office then catch a night game at Papa John's. On Sunday we'd trek to Bowling Green where PP92 could invite all of Warren County to his house for a cook-out and play "guess which beer I'm drinking".

We could also do that in reverse and have theguru host everyone at a Bengals game on Sunday.

I could check a lot of people off my list that way.

That's fine and dandy but I live in Boyle County now not Bowling Green. :D

Ah, crap. What the heck is wrong with me?

Danville would be easier to swing through than Bowling Green anyway. And you could invite Chuck Smith :lol2:

I still haven't been lucky enough to meet anyone.

Some of us aren't worth a dime, you may be better off.

There's a festival about 8 minutes from my house, the KY Wool Festival, that takes place the first full weekend of October every year. It's a huge event that draws thousands each year & it was packed today. I had just bought a Ribeye Steak Sandwich & had just started eating it while talking to some friends when I saw HT walk past. I knew what he looked like because we're Facebook friends. Got to chat for about 20 minutes or so.

My Ribeye sandwich was great, by the way. Onions & peppers on it.

I enjoyed my day of gluttony as well. Didn't get to meet HT though. I did run into Randy 3-4 times, as usual.

I've been fortunate enough to meet a bunch of BGP folks over the years, and have made some great friends through the site. Hope I get to meet many more.

Good opportunity for lots of us to meet at the Sweet 16. I'm easy to spot at my courtside seat. Come on down and say hi.

Who's got ties at WKU? Get us a box for the State Finals days. :lol2:

Randy was my first. :sssh: I saw Deuce at Bank of KY once but he was far away so not sure that counts. Forgot about GT - he got some Reds tickets from me once.

I would definitely know you if we crossed paths, so I kinda count it. Plus we interact enough all the time that we might as well have met.

It will happen soon enough I'm sure.

Yep. I'll make my way up to NKY soon. I actually have another gig in Cincy next month, maybe we can arrange something with a group up there that weekend.
