August 7, 201313 yr I just logged in to point out a managers decision for anyone that may want to coach / manage any baseball in the future or those who may be a coach or manager now. One surely will want to take note of a lineup change, especially the reasoning used by the great Dusty Baker. Tonight Dusty sat Todd Frazier due to him not hitting at all and at .238. Frazier hasn't been hitting, that's a fact but who does Dusty substitute ? A player hitting .218 to substitute for the poor .238 avg. of Frazier plus bats him 8th. So, take note - should you have a guy that is your 6 hole hitter batting a dismal avg. then by all means replace that man with a worse hitter. :lol2: Some still wonder why the Reds have not and probably will not win a NL Pennant or W.S. Title with Dusty Baker at the helm. As I said on the other thread, I tried to give Baker the benefit of the doubt in saying that he hasn't been bad. No more.
