August 5, 201313 yr Is it me or does this team at times look lackluster, clueless, unmotivated, just going through the motions? No fire. They've wasted so many well pitched games. And if it wasn't for the pitching, I think they'd already be out of it. Heard something this morning on the radio I hadn't heard before, that one of the reasons Cueto has been injured so much is because he's not in shape. The Redbirds absolutely embarrassed them this weekend and I really do not see this team getting any better.

August 5, 201313 yr If Dusty is such a players Manager, why does the Reds not play harder for him? I said it earlier in the year and I will say it again, Reds will not win with Dusty as Manager. Jacoby still has to go also.
August 5, 201313 yr This team just isn't that good. I also thought that this bunch would be enough to win the central. But there's too many holes. I hope there are some significant changes in this roster in December. Frankly, only Cingrani is untouchable when it comes to bartering in the hot stove, IMO. If by some stroke of luck this team has to face the Cards in a playoff series, I'd lay a chunk on that one. Not in the favor of our guys either.
August 5, 201313 yr There is a lot of talent on this team because there record says there is. It just doesn't seem like it has gelled at all this year. There's no veteren on this team that can rally the troops. It's missing that piece. This team has zero heart. It feels like they are at a job instead of playing a game we all wish we could play. Very disappointing effort this season. I wish it looked like they have fun out there, kind of like the Red Sox.

August 5, 201313 yr Author Cards put the nail in the coffin for the Reds season. On the bright side, if they continue to play this poorly we can at least look forward to new management next season.
August 5, 201313 yr I will be optimistic and say that maybe some off time (today and Thursday) at home will benefit them mentally. That's about all I got.
