Any of the St. Henry faithful have an update on the Job? have they done any interviewing? I assume they will get this filled as quick as possible.

As the one who beat the dead horse on this, in the long run this is the best thing for the school. I'm glad someone or something stopped this.

Heard last night that Collins did not go back to pro ball. Rather that he had started a summer team and would not be able to coach the Crusaders and his team at the same time. So he chose the summer team.

The kid that told me is in 8th grade so that age sounds about right.

I heard Jerry sold Erlanger Batting Cage and has a warehouse on the other side of Krogers he is converting into a baseball facility.

I believe they will compete in the American League Division of Southwest Ohio League Baseball, but that's just a guess on my part based on knowing one of the boys on the team.

Yes essentially that is what I heard last night.

Heard there may be a little more to that story than what we know. Rumor around Erlanger is that St. Henry got Collins background check back and they were not to impressed with it.

If that is in fact the case, then someone should be reprimanded for announcing the hiring prior to the back ground check being performed. When kids are in the picture, the back ground check/ (VIRTUS check for Catholic schools) should always come first.....you can't even volunteer for cafeteria these days without passing and maintaining VIRTUS......
