If that is in fact the case, then someone should be reprimanded for announcing the hiring prior to the back ground check being performed. When kids are in the picture, the back ground check/ (VIRTUS check for Catholic schools) should always come first.....you can't even volunteer for cafeteria these days without passing and maintaining VIRTUS......

Heard there may be a little more to that story than what we know. Rumor around Erlanger is that St. Henry got Collins background check back and they were not to impressed with it.

Shame on whoever let out that piece of information. I thought that background check information is to be strictly confidential? Something about privacy?

Heard that rumor earlier as well. Checking with people to see if it can be confirmed or not. Don't know how if the people I know are in the know though.

I understand our point but if specifics are not given then I do not have a problem with it. Obviously the background check should have been completed before announcing him as the coach.

You know how whenever someone says "now is not the time for I told you so, but..." it's always actually the perfect time to say that? --that's kind of where I'm at right now.
