Carpet Cleaning Company in NKY

Featured Replies

Any recommendations? Possibly someone that will clean furniture as well.

Back in my homebuilding days, I always had Decker Enterprises clean the carpets in our model homes and in the spec houses. They were always quick and easy, and I thought they did a good job. Plus they're a fairly small business, owned and operated locally, so if there was ever a problem (and the only problem I ever had was when I was supposed to leave a model home unlocked for the technician to come and clean the carpets, and I forgot to so he couldn't get in), it was easy to get ahold of the right person.

I use Wes Martin from Alexandria. Husband and wife team that puts the work in. They really try to get every little stain out and succeed.

I recommend Shirden's carpet cleaning

I also recommend Shirdens. Very nice family run business with reasonable prices. I just had them at my home this week.

Do it yourself It's pretty easy.

You know, I'm a do-it-yourselfer with virtually every single thing that I am capable of being...(even with stitches sometimes)...but I've never felt that I've been able to get carpets cleaned to the same extent that professional carpet cleaning companies are able to. Don't get me wrong, the carpets undoubtedly look better after I've done it, but I just don't think the rental carpet cleaners or the home-model carpet cleaners get the job done quite as well as the big industrial machines that the companies use.

I use Shirden's. They do a great job.

Ditto, plus I'd rather pay someone than waste my time. :D

Are you saying you have given yourself stitches before??? :eyeonyou:

I have own and rented carpet cleaners over the years. I agree that professionals do a better job. When you also consider your own time and the work required, the small difference in price is well worth it.

We used Teasdale Fenton last year, and I thought they did a really good job. The guy was very nice and professional.

Last weekend, we rented a cleaner from Home Depot as our carpet cleaner broke, and I was very impressed with it. When we built our house, we put the cheap, light colored carpet in the dining room and study knowing that we would eventually replace it with hardwood. It gets dirty fast with 2 kids and 2 dogs. It came out spotless and got all the stains out that we couldn't with spot cleaners.

There's no question professional cleaners do a better job than any machine you can buy at the store, but the Home Depot unit, I wouldn't hesitate to use again.
