July 11, 201313 yr We used Teasdale Fenton last year, and I thought they did a really good job. The guy was very nice and professional. Last weekend, we rented a cleaner from Home Depot as our carpet cleaner broke, and I was very impressed with it. When we built our house, we put the cheap, light colored carpet in the dining room and study knowing that we would eventually replace it with hardwood. It gets dirty fast with 2 kids and 2 dogs. It came out spotless and got all the stains out that we couldn't with spot cleaners. There's no question professional cleaners do a better job than any machine you can buy at the store, but the Home Depot unit, I wouldn't hesitate to use again. Rug Doctor? Those seem to heat the water fairly hot, which I don't think most home-model type cleaners even do at all, and their suction is way better than any home-model I've ever used. Again, yes, not as good as having it done professionally.
July 11, 201313 yr When I bought my house we had Widmer's come in and clean the carpets. $100 for 5 rooms. Looked really nice, but then we got a puppy so they're in need of it again. :lol2:

May 5, 201610 yr Author I recommend Shirden's carpet cleaning I also recommend Shirdens. Very nice family run business with reasonable prices. I just had them at my home this week. I third Shirden's! They did great work for me a couple of times at what I considered a good price. Shirden's Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Service Inc. I use Shirden's. They do a great job. Shirdens at my house today. Way cheaper than any other place I called and priced. For the price it's easily worth it over me going to a store and renting all the equipment and spending a few hours of my time doing it.
